We use the 1928 American Book of Common Prayer as our standard for community worship. We believe in the old adage Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi—what we pray is what we believe (literally, “the law of prayer is the law of faith”). Since the 1928 Prayer Book is the last American edition to uphold the 450+ year tradition of Anglican Prayer Book theology, language, and form, we trust that our worship is shaped by right doctrine—doctrine inspired by Scripture and sanctified over the centuries by the prayerful devotion of the faithful.
This worship keeps us centered on the gift of God in His Son, Jesus Christ, and reminds us of our continual need to turn to Him for the grace necessary to live lives worthy of our calling.
